Featured Adoptable!

Loving Evie is a sweet and happy 4-year-old girl looking for a home where she will be the only pet! This wiggly girl loves to spend time with people and would likely do okay in a home with older, respectful kiddos. In addition to enjoying belly rubs and snuggles, Evie is housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to use the dog door.

Who We Are

Here at Lucy's Hope Sanctuary & Rescue, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our goal is to give a second chance to animals who are most vulnerable and in need of love and hope.

Our Mission

Lucy’s Hope Sanctuary & Rescue

A second chance at a new START

Saving lives

Transparency

Advocacy

Rehabilitation

Training

At Lucy’s Hope Sanctuary & Rescue, we are not just committed to rescuing but to ensuring quality of life for the dogs we save. Our mission is to give a second chance at a new start to animals who are most vulnerable and in need of love and hope.

We are committed to achieving our mission by:

- Saving lives of vulnerable groups of dogs, such as behavior, medical, senior, and hospice

- Transparency in our operations, fundraising, successes, and challenges

- Advocacy for high-risk & euthanasia dogs

- Rehabilitation of the sick and neglected

- Training to avoid reoffending and increase successful transition into forever homes

In order to reach as many dogs as possible, our goal is to create a large network of fosters. Such a network will allow us to move quickly to pull and place various high-risk dogs in safe foster homes, so we can begin the process of rehabilitation, training, and ultimately adoption into forever homes. In the near future, we have plans to build a large facility on 20 acres in Marana, Arizona that will mean even more dogs will get a second chance at a new START.

We are very excited to try something different, and with your help, we will all work our tails off to make this dream a reality!

Foster Care

At Lucy's Hope Rescue, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in finding safe and caring environments for as many animals as possible. Finding adequate space for safe keeping of our guests is by no means an easy task, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support by becoming a partnered foster.

Sanctuary & Rescue

With this initiative, our goal is to provide the opportunity for rescued animals to find forever safe and loving homes. With access to the right resources and the generosity of volunteers, fosters and donors, we are able to provide needed training and veterinary care. Although all efforts are made to place animals in well-suited permanent homes, we realize that some are best cared for as permanent residents in our "No Dog Left Behind" Sanctuary program. Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today.

Training & Behavior Modification

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for improving the bond between dogs and their humans. Behavior and temperament assessment is something that we take very seriously. Working in partnership with our preferred experienced trainers, through training and behavior modification, we make every effort to set up our adoptees for success. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this important program.
